Ok so, I am interested in becoming a Dental Assistant. I recently asked my dentist if he would let me intern at his office and he said yes, he would. Now, I live in Massachusetts and am planning on going to a program called Boston Career Institute in Malden, MA. One of my friends had a friend who went there and I recently added her on FaceBook and asked her about the school, she keeps telling me that she went there and they dont teach you anything and that some of her friends also went there and said it was a waste. Also, my dentist said that the best training you can get is on the job and she thinks smaller programs are better for careers like this. Am I looking at this the right way or am I totally wrong and should look into another school ?... Read More »
